Music has being a part of Susan's spirit, since childhood. She silently worked on developing her craft as a composer/ songwriter part-time, until she was ready to release her music to the world. Feeling very shy to perform in public, she took a back sit role, and wrote for pleasure. She believes her passion for song writing, and visual arts have ever left her soul.
After several years of creating a large body of song material that ranged from Country, New Age, Jazz, New Age/Rock, Folk, and Inspirational. She decided to release her music, for other music lovers to enjoy.
Susan's inspiration for her current music Cd's entitled;" WATER'S FOOTPRINTS" come from listening to the sound of water’s movement. The closer she listened; she could feel the notes come alive, as she tried to capture the water's voice. Clearly she could hear, feel the power of the ocean waves crashing against a rough coastal shoreline, or the gentle waves of water rushing over a sandy beach with seagulls, loons, unique nature sounds calling out, in the background. With her albums entitled: “So Many Ways” "Alive, Feeling IT, Renewal and November Winds" came from listening to Opera and New Age/Pop music for a period of five years. She discovered the power of individual notes in fact created the mood for the song that touch her in way she never realized before. Her passion grew for musical arrangements that would affect spirit of the listeners. Her commitment to music led to the composition and production of (10) ten music albums from 2000 to 2010.
2000: "Love Songs"- with five Pop tunes entitled: Dreaming, Waiting & Wondering, When You Dance With Me, Finally Over You, When Your Heart Feels Weak
2008: "Came Together" with six Country Cross Over tunes entitled: Finally Over You, Came Together, I Must Confess How Odd Love Is, If I Weren't So Shy, Charming Ways, Where Is It Written
2008: "Naked Narrative", - with twelve Folk tunes entitled: Genuine, I Wish You Well, A Lasting Love, Somewhere Inside of Me, So Fine, Soapstone, Since You Came into my Life, Shake It, Sometimes, The Best Part of Me.
