Mexican Native K-NO is without a doubt one of the freshest acts to surface from the Niagara Region in a long time. He was featured in the Chicago-based magazine "H.E.E.T." back in 2002, and from then on he hasn't stopped. With a trend-setting state of mind, his unique sound has gotten him the recognition he deserves.
I've been writing and making music since the age of 15, being influenced by both commercial and underground hip-hop. My love for music stems from my father. Ever since I was a kid my father introduced me to the world of music, playing music from some of his favorite Mexican singers.
Some of the artists I've worked with include DJ Ill Tablemanners, Rail, Davey Mac, Hooded Poets, Tino, Gau, A-FAM, Splyt, The Poet Trees, Moofeek, Lyrical Prez, Lady Lyrix, Ashley Ross, SeanB, Ricard, Almost Famous Ent., Fats, Shane Smith & Pawn (Some of the talent the Niagara Region has to offer).
I've gotten radio airplay in a few radio stations including the "ALL UP IN THEM EARHOLES" hip-hop show on 103.7fm CFBU and 106.9fm CFYT Radio.
