Introduction

They say you gotta write what you know - I know travelin' down the road, motel rooms and missin' somebody, all the while believin' it's a noble quest and you're on the road to somewhere; some indispensable truth lies at the end of this highway; and you'll die tryin' to reach it - the whole time knowin' it's a highway with no end and a truth that can't be known.
It doesn't matter. It's the journey, not the destination that counts. My souvenirs are the stories and songs I write along the way. That’s what I offer up to you.
