Bruce Palait born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Began studying at The Academy Of Music at the age of 10. Then played his first professional concerts on the public school circuit. Started composing his first original songs at the age of 14. At the age of 16 studied Classical Guitar, University of Toronto Royal Conservatory exams with Ted Lebar. In the 60?s started his successful rock group Manna, playing the Yorkville scene, clubs such as the El Patio and the River Boat. As the 70?s arrived Bruce joined the successful rock group Tribe, touring major venues all across Canada. At that point Tribe?s management was approached by Quincy Jones to produce and work with Tribe on recording. After touring the Canadian concert and club circuit for several years, Bruce finds himself in Cuba acquiring Salsa and Latin influences, from some of the greatest Cuban musicians. After several trips to the island Bruce finds himself recording one of his many songs with George Semkiw producer of several gold albums. Bruce also produced and wrote a lead guitar part for a Brazilian feature film called Impedimento with Igor Vrabac that won Best Feature Film Award In Honolulu, Hawaii in 2008, Mexico in 2009, El Sawy International Film Festival Egypt 2009. Now has four nominations in Los Angeles, California. One for best picture and one for best actor. Bruce?s own recording project with his Rock Group The Glu is currently in the studio recording his original songs.
