Introduction

They are modest, honest to a fault. With the subtle simplicity of the naive and the seductive ambiguity of the knowing they want to elevate atoms of feeling into the world of rock and roll. They are cleaving a space out of forgetfulness and filling it with urgency of the sounds on their records. It's a landscape of skyscraping lightness and raucous homespun linoleum dancing; it's an imperative to join them at the uncertain place where the heart can be heard with clarity and where the soul can scream its freedom. The newest album, the self-titled LP, has received outstanding reviews and is getting rapid airplay on college radio. This sound album is a blend of rock and blues with inflictions of country and disco beats. This mix of classic sounds has helped to create an album that can be listened to from front to back with toes tapping and where your hips can't help but keep the time.
