Biography

Jamie Michel Giroux a.k.a. (Explicit) was born September 16, 1982 at Centenary Hospital in Scarborough, Ontario Canada to two loving parents.

Explicit grew up around Toronto, Ontario for his younger years but later moved with his mother to a small town (Keswick). In Keswick, Jamie attended numerous schools because his family was always moving around town and found it hard to make friends.

After 11 years in Keswick, Explicit later moved back to the big city with his father where he finished off his education and continues to reside in Scarborough

Explicit was introduced to music at a very young age, going to concerts with his father. His first being the
Moody Blues and ever since that day, he has dreamed of entertaining and performing live to people at a larger scale.
With remarkable talent, motivation, hardwork, catchy hooks and clubby beats, Explicit is planning on taking over a Canadian market in a genre that has been nearly untouchable by any other artists

Explicit realizes the fact that the New York and dirty south Atlanta are the scene right now for hip hop, but makes it one of his goals to get the T-Dot (Toronto) recognized in the same category. When asked about this, Explicit threw back with “ It is our time to shine, you don’t have to be from these city’s or Los Angeles to be famous”
Explicit’s debut album “Canadian Content” is in the early stages of being recorded. Once finished, Explicit plans on going on a nation-wide tour for the fans.
