Ruthie Lamb is a singer/songwriter born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario. After her completion of a B.A. in Psychology at McMaster University she moved to Toronto to receive a scholarship from Theatre Ontario. Ruthie became involved in theatre stage work; however, her real passion has always been to sing. She has been singing for as long as she can remember in theatre and various choirs and is now aggressively pursuing a recording career. She has been training vocally and writing for several years. She is also studying the guitar to enhance her song writing and on-stage performance.

Ruthie's expansive vocal range allows her to sing several styles of music, but her passion and writing style is rock combining alternative sounds with new rock adrenaline. Many groups inspire Ruthie some of which are the Beatles, Evanescence, Ian Thornley, Nickelback, Sheryl Crow, Soundgarden, and Led Zeppelin.

Ruthie is writing with a number of talented musicians with successful recording careers. The three songs on the demo "Break Me Free" are examples of her current works. Her music is strong and powerful and played simply and genuinely. Although she has a rock base, she has the ability to make each song sound unique. Ruthie writes songs from the heart, that capture the audience's attention. Ruthie was featured with the headliner band at the June 2005, Ride For Sight Fundraiser in Trenton, Ontario where she rocked over 2,000 people screaming for an encore. She has been asked by the National Event Manager to come back again next year.

Ruthie's life long dream is to become an International Artist and tour Europe, particularly Italy and Scotland, the countries of her heritage. Her talent and beauty bring a fresh new perspective to the male dominated arena of rock.

Look out boys... Ruthie rocks!
