Introduction

Loco Zydeco is a Canadian Zydeco band based in Toronto ON. For the uninitiated, Zydeco is an infectious, dance inducing blend of traditional Creole/Cajun melodies infused with Blues, R+B, Rock'n'Roll and Reggae flavouring. Originating in the rural areas of South West Louisiana and East Texas, Zydeco features the accordion and rubboard as the main instruments, backed by electric guitar, electric bass, drums and vocals. Loco Zydeco dips into the genre's rich history, blendingTraditional and Modern Zydeco into their own distinctive sound.
