Bobbi Lee! Bobbi Lee! Bobbi Lee!!!...You were fantastic! What a show, what a band and a great reunion. I was there last September and loved every minute of it after you stepped on the stage..you and your band brought the party to life. I was back in the 60's again for a little while and it was wonderful. Thanks for re-energizing and finding my soul all over again.

Well, I'm impressed! Was that really you rockin' the A&W parking lot on Cruise Night? What a GREAT show! You've STILL got the POWER! I was amazed at the energy you put into your performance. Loved hearing the oldies and I must say, you looked SO SHARP in your pinstriped suit just like the old days. See you made the front page of Stratford Beacon too! Congrats and see you at the next one on September 3rd for sure!

Margaret (Cook) Poole Sun Sep 19, 2004 7:09pm

Philip Cook Sun Sep 19, 2004 7:09pm

Just recovering now from your performance at the Cook re-union in Washago. My head wanted to dance like I used to in the Golden Days of Rock & Roll, but the old body kept crying out for the nitro. Had a wonderful time none the less and the band sounded absolutely great. Thanks for a great night and the memories.

Hi Bobbilee I was at the Cook reunion in Washago on June 21. I didn't know oldies and R&B would or could sound so well. My young cousins and I liked it when you came down on the dance floor and got us really dancing and singing. The sound of The Scepters is "COOL". A great show all round. Next gig? Thank you so much, we cousins had a great time! You're invited back to the next reunion in a few years. Ann McGillis

Thank you very much for your appearance at the Cook Family Homecoming in Washago Beach, last weekend!! No doubt, you and the "sensational" Scepters made it a success. "We Are Family" as the song says. You guys are now part of our family! We were told many times during the evening, how good the band was! Sample comments..Where do they play next? Where do they appear regularly? Will they be at the Calgary Stampede? Where are they from and where are they going? There's just something about you Bobbi, and the band behind you that excites everyone. My mother can't believe that talent like that could come from anyone that hung around Roncies and the Ace Grill! My sincerest thanks. I wish you all great success and happiness. Again!!!!

Boy,talk about a difficut site to find. We have been looking for two weeks. Please get a new server or listing. Billy and I (Anita) caught you guys at Goodfellows here in Brantford, and had a great time. I grew up in Northern,Wis,USA but Billy is from Ontario and we both love the forbidden music of our youth, and we're happy to hear it again.I have a hat from that night and will bring it the next time you come to Brantford. When we got married, second time for both of us,our first dance together was, when we get married.Do you know it? Best of luck in the future. Anny and Bill

Tina McGillvary(Basstillo) Sun Sep 19, 2004 6:09pm

Oh my God! Hi Bobbi and the Scepters.I can't believe this.My girlfriend Susan and I used to see you at Clarkson Teen Town,I think the first time was with a local band called The Avengers.I was there because my boyfriend was the bass player, and you guys opened for them.I had never heard or saw anything like you guys before,I was only 14 at the time and loved music by the Box Tops and Joey Dee.Anyway, when I heard and saw what you were doing I fell in love with it,and have been a blues lover ever since.I even tried to be a singer myself later and do Joplin stuff, but ended up getting married instead.I joined your society and still have my card number 322,went to dances you played whenever I could but then lost track of you somehow.I am 52 now and divorced twice, but we won't go into that, and feel like a miniskirted kid again after seeing your site.It has brought back a lot of memories.I recently moved back to Mississauga and the old dance hall isn't there anymore but if you ever play in the area one more time,I will come out and see you
