Introduction

Wielding a name that might sound like it was plucked from the track sheet of Kentucky Derby contender, this Montreal based indie act has been in fact working like a race horse. With the recent release of their full length CD "Mood Swings and Cravings" the band has been hopping back and forth from Montreal, Ottawa, Kingston and Toronto (Projected dates TBC in Quebec, Vermont, Boston and New York) to promote their new release.

The Rubys have been spotted winning-over audiences in key eastern clubs. Shows at the Legendary Horseshoe in Toronto, Ottawa's Zaphod Beeblebrox, Kingston's Scherzo Pub and highly reputable The Black Sheep Inn of Wakefield.

Shooting Rubys have created a PowerPop / Alternative Rock sound using melody, mature arrangements and vocal harmonies. Each member sharing in the song writing and singing, bringing together four separate voices, letting each track stand on it's own.
